UAA ARC is a research conference organized by high school students from Uskudar American Academy. The registered participants will be given a period of time to create a research paper about the topic of their choice in areas of mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology, or computer science. There will be several panels and workshops right after the applications of the competition close and throughout the research period. After the research period ends, the papers will be evaluated by the Evaluating Committee and on the determined Event Day, the winning papers will be announced. There will be Case Study sessions and workshops by our esteemed guests on Event Day which the participants will be obligated to attend.

We recognize the importance of researching, writing and presenting a topic of interest for high school students at providing invaluable early experience in communicating ideas. In UAA ARC, we create a platform for students to acquire and improve their research skills directly by experiencing. No matter what one’s winning status is, everyone will be given feedback from our Evaluating Committee on how to improve their writing, structuring, and researching skills.
